I got distracted from doing the photo a day project, but am starting again today with the hope of posting for the rest if October.
I snapped this on my way to the train after work. I liked the lady holding up the sign.
Today is also my Mom s birthday. Happy birthday, Mom!
My friend Jen and I are lucky to know each other. Lucky because of how we met when we were 13, lucky to have had each other to rely on during our crazy teenage years, and lucky to get to see each other once in a while. Not as often as we’d like, but i appreciate what I can get! I am lucky to have this plucky, funny, sweet, kind, tough gal for a friend.
My dear friend Johnny does a photo-a-day challenge along with a website/ blog that’s terrific fun called Fat Mum Slim. (for some reason, the majority of blogs I read are Australian! They are awesome!) So, I have decided to join in for the month of August and see how it goes. I know that I want to get better at taking photos in general, and I also love any artsy exercise that forces you to look at your day-to-day world a little differently.
